Meet Renée Lunceford, Vice President, Marketing at Midwest Employers Casualty, a Berkley Company. 
With over 30 years of experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, Renée Lunceford has excelled in actuarial, compliance, consulting, and marketing. As Vice President of Marketing at Midwest Employers Casualty (MEC), a Berkley Company, she has spearheaded strategies that have enhanced the company’s brand presence and market share in the excess workers’ compensation and captive sectors. Her strategic leadership has earned recognition both within her organization and across the industry.

Renée is deeply committed to mentorship, leadership development, and expanding opportunities for emerging professionals in insurance. She actively supports college students and early-career professionals, coaching them on business acumen and connecting them with marketing and insurance leaders to help them learn, grow, and build strong professional relationships.

A dedicated industry leader, Renée is a proud member of NAAIA’s Boston Chapter and is actively involved in numerous organizations, including the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), the Public Risk & Insurance Management Association (PRIMA), Amplify Women, the Insurance Marketing & Communications Association, and Black Women in the Insurance Industry. She also serves on PRIMA’s conference and PRIMA Institute planning committees and is a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and SAG-AFTRA.

In 2023, Renée was honored with NAAIA’s Corporate Leader Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the industry. She believes in the power of mentorship, often saying, “Empowering others is the key to building a brighter future for our industry.”
