Meet Jene’ia Keaton, Senior Agency Operations Analyst at Symetra Financial.

Jene’ia began her career in Portland, Oregon, working in the accounting division of an insurance third party administrator, where she supported policy payments, FSA and HSA transactions, and policyholder service across both phone and email. That early experience helped shape her strong foundation in customer care and operational precision.

After returning to the Seattle area, Jene’ia joined Symetra Financial, where she has now built an impressive career spanning nearly two decades. Over the last 19 years, she has contributed across multiple departments and business divisions, developing deep expertise in premiums, policyholder experience, agent support, and commission operations. Her progression from Premium Analyst III to Agency Operations Representative, Senior Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, and her current role reflects a consistent commitment to excellence, learning, and growth.

In addition to her professional work, Jene’ia is an active leader within Symetra’s AAAC ERG, where she has served on the board for the past three years. After serving as Membership Chair, she recently transitioned into the Treasurer Chair role. Known for her attention to detail and collaborative spirit, Jene’ia brings both analytical strength and a people-first approach to everything she does, ensuring customers and partners are supported with care and integrity.
